DentistKazakhstan is a peer-reviewed, open access scientific and practical journal. Authors are requested to carefully follow the editorial policy, ethical standards of publication, and the technical requirements outlined below before submitting a manuscript.
- General Requirements
Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration by another journal.
Submissions should be prepared in .docx format using Times New Roman, font size 14 pt, 1.5 line spacing, and 2 cm margins.
Articles should be written in Kazakh, Russian, or English.

Scientific articles must follow the IMRaD structure:
- Introduction
- Aim
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusions
- Each manuscript must include:
- Title(concise and informative)
- Structured Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (3–6 terms)
- Main text (as per IMRaD format)
- References (formatted in Vancouver style)
- References
References should be formatted according to the Vancouver style.
Only sources cited in the text should be included.
DOI numbers must be provided where available.
Authors are encouraged to include references to recent international literature (preferably Scopus- or Web of Science–indexed).
- Figures and Tables
Figures should be submitted in high resolution (JPEG, TIFF, or PNG, minimum 300 dpi).
Tables must be numbered consecutively and provided with clear titles.
All illustrations must be referenced in the text.
Figures and tables should not duplicate information presented elsewhere in the manuscript.
- Authorship and ORCID
All authors must be listed with their full names, institutional affiliations, and ORCID iDs.
Author contributions must be indicated using the CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology, Data curation, Writing – original draft, Supervision).
The corresponding author must provide a valid email address for communication.
- Funding and Conflict of Interest
All sources of financial or institutional support must be acknowledged.
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest using the ICMJE Disclosure Form.
- Ethical Considerations
Research involving humans or animals must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki, ARRIVE guidelines, and national legislation.
Submissions must include a statement on ethical approval (with approval number and institution) and informed consent for clinical studies or case reports.
Patient confidentiality must always be respected.
- Plagiarism and Originality
All manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using iThenticate and Antiplagiat.
The similarity threshold is set at ≤20%, with required originality of at least 80%.
- Preprint and Postprint Policy
Authors may deposit preprints (e.g., medRxiv, OSF) prior to submission.
Postprints are allowed, provided a full citation and link to the journal’s website are included.
- Submission of Manuscripts
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically
The editorial office will acknowledge receipt within 5 working days.
Authors will receive peer review feedback within 8 weeks.
- Open Access Policy
The journal follows a full open access model in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative.
All articles are freely available immediately upon publication.
No article processing charges (APCs) are required.
Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, and cite the full texts with proper attribution.
