DentistKazakhstan<\/strong> is a peer-reviewed, open access scientific and practical journal. Authors are requested to carefully follow the editorial policy, ethical standards of publication, and the technical requirements outlined below before submitting a manuscript.<\/p>\n

  1. General Requirements<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration by another journal.<\/p>\n

    Submissions should be prepared in .docx format using Times New Roman, font size 14 pt, 1.5 line spacing, and 2 cm margins.<\/p>\n

    Articles should be written in Kazakh, Russian, or English.<\/p>\n

    1. Article Types<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The journal accepts:<\/p>\n

      • Original research articles<\/li>\n
      • Reviews<\/li>\n
      • Clinical case reports<\/li>\n
      • Short communications<\/li>\n
      • Editorials and expert commentaries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        1. Manuscript Structure<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Scientific articles must follow the IMRaD structure:<\/p>\n

            \n
          • Introduction<\/li>\n
          • Aim<\/li>\n
          • Materials and Methods<\/li>\n
          • Results<\/li>\n
          • Discussion<\/li>\n
          • Conclusions<\/li>\n
          • Each manuscript must include:<\/li>\n
          • Title(concise and informative)<\/li>\n
          • Structured Abstract (150\u2013250 words)<\/li>\n
          • Keywords (3\u20136 terms)<\/li>\n
          • Main text (as per IMRaD format)<\/li>\n
          • References (formatted in Vancouver style)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            1. References<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              References should be formatted according to the Vancouver style.<\/p>\n

              Only sources cited in the text should be included.<\/p>\n

              DOI numbers must be provided where available.<\/p>\n

              Authors are encouraged to include references to recent international literature (preferably Scopus- or Web of Science\u2013indexed).<\/p>\n

              1. Figures and Tables<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Figures should be submitted in high resolution (JPEG, TIFF, or PNG, minimum 300 dpi).<\/p>\n

                Tables must be numbered consecutively and provided with clear titles.<\/p>\n

                All illustrations must be referenced in the text.<\/p>\n

                Figures and tables should not duplicate information presented elsewhere in the manuscript.<\/p>\n

                1. Authorship and ORCID<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  All authors must be listed with their full names, institutional affiliations, and ORCID iDs.<\/p>\n

                  Author contributions must be indicated using the CRediT taxonomy (e.g., Conceptualization, Methodology, Data curation, Writing \u2013 original draft, Supervision).<\/p>\n

                  The corresponding author must provide a valid email address for communication.<\/p>\n

                  1. Funding and Conflict of Interest<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    All sources of financial or institutional support must be acknowledged.<\/p>\n

                    Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest using the ICMJE Disclosure Form.<\/p>\n

                    1. Ethical Considerations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      Research involving humans or animals must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki, ARRIVE guidelines, and national legislation.<\/p>\n

                      Submissions must include a statement on ethical approval (with approval number and institution) and informed consent for clinical studies or case reports.<\/p>\n

                      Patient confidentiality must always be respected.<\/p>\n

                      1. Plagiarism and Originality<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        All manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using iThenticate and Antiplagiat.<\/p>\n

                        The similarity threshold is set at \u226420%, with required originality of at least 80%.<\/p>\n

                        1. Preprint and Postprint Policy<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                          Authors may deposit preprints (e.g., medRxiv, OSF) prior to submission.<\/p>\n

                          Postprints are allowed, provided a full citation and link to the journal\u2019s website are included.<\/p>\n

                          1. Submission of Manuscripts<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                            Manuscripts must be submitted electronically<\/p>\n

                            The editorial office will acknowledge receipt within 5 working days.<\/p>\n

                            Authors will receive peer review feedback within 8 weeks.<\/p>\n

                            1. Open Access Policy<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                              The journal follows a full open access model in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative.<\/p>\n

                              All articles are freely available immediately upon publication.<\/p>\n

                              No article processing charges (APCs) are required.<\/p>\n

                              Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, and cite the full texts with proper attribution.<\/p>\n
