All manuscripts submitted to the editorial board of the scientific and practical journal DentistKazakhstan undergo mandatory screening for textual similarities using the “antiplagiat.com” system.
The screening is carried out at the initial editorial assessment stage prior to peer review. The following aspects are evaluated:

overall percentage of textual similarity;

nature of the detected similarities;

accuracy of citation formatting;

extent of self-citation;
-
indications of improper borrowing or compilative character of the manuscript.
Only properly cited materials with mandatory source attribution are considered acceptable. In cases where plagiarism, improper textual borrowing, data falsification, or other violations of publication ethics are identified, the manuscript is rejected without being forwarded for peer review.
The editorial board adheres to the principles of academic integrity and internationally recognized standards of publication ethics.
